When my Thai Friends asked me about where and which hotel is better for traveling in Taipei,I did think a lot and not sure how to recommend them.
After of all,I think Ximen Ding area is better choice.Coz Ximen is very friendly and convenience for tourists,lots Taiwan food choices,night life,also have lots hotels and hostels,and easy to get a taxi.
When I was Junior High School Student,I used to take a bus to Ximen.So now I won't get lost in those blocks.If you are new to here,it might be easy to forget how to walk back to hotel.No worry,now eyeryone uses smart phone to walk around.
If you are new to Ximen Ding,it's better to choose a hotel on the main road,not indise the small alley.
